The Arbours Psychotherapy Service offers a low-fee psychotherapy service with our experienced mature and final-level trainees, subject to availability.  Our trainees are closely supervised by experienced practitioners in both groups and individually.  We do advise you to check if this service is currently available. 

Therapy sessions are available across London,however the initial consultation takes place in North London.  Please let us know your availability (evenings/daytime) when you call. Sessions are offered two times per week.

Am I eligible?

The low fee service is open to all those on a low-income e.g students,  benefit recipients, unemployed, single-parents.  Those in employment,  who might otherwise be unable to pay for full fee psychotherapy or counselling, are also eligible for this scheme. 

The cost of the low fee service is £20

What happens next?

Our administrator will take some further brief details from you and one of the Service Consultants will be in contact to arrange an initial consultation. In this meeting, you will be offered the opportunity to discuss what you might want to talk about in therapy, any concerns or questions you may have about either therapy generally, or this scheme  in particular.

The Arbours Association

A long established mental health organisation based in North London (N8) urgently needs a full time Facilitator/Support Worker (£20,176 per annum)
FT (40 hours including 2 hours of paid study leave) + 2 sleep-in per week

The Arbours Association provides therapeutic communities (psychodynamic approach) and supported housing for individuals in emotional distress. We are looking to recruit a Facilitator/Support Worker to help further our work.

This is a varied post assisting people with mental health problems in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have experience or formal training in mental health issues and/or psychotherapy and is looking for an alternative approach to mainstream care. Sleep-in work is essential. In-house training is offered with this post.
