SPEAKER: Dr Julian Stern

Consultant Psychiatrist in Psychotherapy at the Tavistock Centre and at St Mark’s Hospital, a hospital for gastrointestinal disorders. He has a particular interest in psychotherapeutic work in medical settings both with patients and staff members. He has published widely, co-edited the textbook “Core Psychiatry” and is an Advanced Member of the Lincoln Centre for Psychotherapy.

SPEAKER: Brian Rock

Consultant clinical psychologist and service lead for the City & Hackney Primary Care Psychotherapy Consultation Service (which specialises in complexity and medically unexplained symptoms) as well as for the online wellbeing service Big White Wall, both part of the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust. He trained at the Tavistock and is a member of the British Psychoanalytical Society.
